"Okay, you ready?" asked Hermione. Ginny nodded.

Hermione sat across from Ginny on her wide Hogwarts bed, legs crossed, already in her pyjamas. She felt a little giddy. They were about to do something dreadfully adult. How Ginny could still look as cool as a cucumber, she was sure she didn't know.

Hermione took a breath, closed her eyes and leaned forward, pursing her lips. Ginny kissed her - on the nose. Hermione blinked in surprise, and it was then that Ginny kissed her on the lips, a quick peck, much softer than she had expected.

"There," said Ginny. "Magic done. You're no longer a kiss-virgin. Feel any different?"

"Not really." Hermione really had expected a few more fireworks.

"Told you." Ginny flopped down on the bed and reached for her lipgloss. "Hey, have you done the Charms homework yet?"

FILLED - Unexpected

They were sitting on top of the playground slide like they usually did on their dates. Both of them liked things to be informal, not that anyone could have a fancy date in the slums, but they still liked just talking and laughing. Zack always told the most hilarious tales and Aeris would always lean on him as she smiled.

Zack's phone suddenly rang and he answered it. After a short conversation, he shut the phone and sighed.

"I have to go now, Aeris. They want me for some mission or another," said Zack.

"That's okay," said Aeris, still smiling, "I know you have to work for a living. Everyone does."

"Heh, this is why I'm lucky to have you as a girlfriend. You're always understanding." Zack then stood up and jumped down to the ground. When he landed he bowed to Aeris and opened his arms to catch her.

With a little oomph, Aeris pushed herself down into Zack's arms. When he caught her, he twirled her around and leaned over and stole a little kiss from her.

He grinned and said, "That's a kiss to remember me by. I wanted our first one to be dramatic." Winking at Aeris, he then ran off to wherever Zacks go when they have a mission.

Aeris touched her lips and smiled gently. "Always the unexpected from you, huh?"

Drusilla paced as she waited in the graveyard for her new toy to rise. Grandmummy and Daddy had already disposed of the caretaker, though Drusilla had pouted mightily that they had told her that she could not help. "You must feed with your toy first," Grandmummy had said. "How else is he to find out what he needs to do? It wouldn’t do for him to get captured on his first night out. Now, make sure he's taken care of, granddaughter. We're off to hunt and will see you in the morning," she said before tapping Drusilla on the nose and entwining her arm into Angelus'. The two of them walked off, Darla humming to herself.

Drusilla hissed softly, pulled out of her thoughts as she noticed that the loose dirt on the top of the grave her toy had been placed in was moving slightly. She crouched down at the foot of the grave, and started digging with her hands, helping her toy out. Grandmummy and Daddy would not approve, but she wasn't going to risk losing her toy because he couldn't get out of his grave before sunrise.

After a few minutes, she purred as pale, dirt-covered fingers poked out of the soil. She dug faster, eager to have her toy feel his first breeze as a creature of the night.

Soon, she had him free enough that she was able to wrap her arms around him and pull him out. She had to rap him on the back of the head to stun him for a moment, though, as he was panicked and fought her when she tried to help him out.

"Naughty puppy. Shouldn't fight mummy when she's pulling you into life," she hissed as her new toy's waist was free. She dropped him on the ground. "Now you're going to have to pull your legs out yourself. I think you bruised your Mummy," she said, fingering her ribcage, where a wild punch had landed. "Puppy doesn't know his own strength."

She pouted as she watched the young man for a few moments. He laid on the ground, looking dazed. She hissed in annoyance after a few moments and crouched down next to him. She tapped the back of his head with her folded fan. "You do need to work on getting your legs loose, puppy. We don't have all night," she said, talking as if she was talking to a child. In some ways, she was.

After a few moments, the man started scrabbling into the dirt, pulling himself out slowly, inch by slow inch. Drusilla clapped her hands and cheered her toy on, and after a good 10 or 15 minutes, he was free.

Drusilla helped him stand up, smiling brightly. "Welcome to your new life, puppy!" she said, brushing dirt off his cheeks and lip and planting a passionate kiss on the confused, newly-born vampire's lips.

Author's Note: This is assuming that Anna is the same age as Chuck, who is, according to the Chuck Wiki, 28. So I'm setting this in the summer before she went to college, assuming she graduated when she was 17 or so.

... Yes, I thought about this way too much. XD

Anna's parents hadn't been happy when she had begged them to let her come over to the US the summer before college, so she could "acclimate to America" before starting college full-time. She even promised to take a couple summer classes so she could get a head start on her studies.

Her parents may not have liked the idea, but she had long figured out how to manipulate her parents. So she had worked on them, using her skills as Daddy's Little Girl to eventually win him over. And once her father had wavered, her mother was soon to change her mind.

And that's how Anna found herself in a station wagon with a bunch of girls from her Intro to Feminine Sexuality class, sucking on a lollipop while listening to 3 of the girls talk, in detail, about their first sexual experiences with females.

After one hilarious story involving mishaps with strap-ons and a run to the emergency room, one of those silences that sometimes settles in the middle of an in-depth conversation filled the station wagon.

"Hell, I've never even been kissed by a girl," Anna muttered under her breath.

"What?!" the girl next to her, a pretty little blonde, laughed. "You can't finish an Intro to Feminine Sexuality class without having been kissed by a girl!"

Anna took her lollipop out of her mouth to reply, only dropping it on the floor as the cute little blonde leaned over and kissed her passionately. The whole station wagon erupted in cheers and yells of "Way to go, Sam!" and "Someone get her her lesbian card!"

Filled: All Things Bright and Beautiful

Albert is the last person left in the Entomology Lab, a solitary figure in the darkness keeping watch over an incubator.

Dale doesn't need to announce himself; his shoes are new and they squeak on the linoleum. Albert has been mocking him all week. He stands beside Albert, looking down on a glass tank. In the cool air of the lab, the dirt is steaming slightly and Dale wonders what is sleeping under that blanket of earth.

"Lucillia Caesar, the common greenbottle." Albert follows Dale's train of thought easily.

"You know, Albert, they will hatch without your watchful gaze. There's a saying around these parts; the main character is a kettle and it never boils."

"Agent Cooper, Lucillia is the first mourner to call upon a dead body. While our victim lay cooling in the damp grass, the mothers who spawned these pupae were with her. Their next generation cast off their skins again and again over the next week, but did not abandon her. They were carried with her to our labs where it was my responsibility to collect them, measure their pupation period and determine exact time of death. These pupae are time capsules; they connect us to that girl's experience of violence and solitude. I will not stand down." He makes a minute adjustment to the heat lamp warming the tank then speaks again in a low voice. "The cleaning staff are imbeciles. They'd unplug a refrigerator to run a damn floor buffer."

Dale nods. There is peace in Albert's uncompromising dedication; a compassion for the victim that few agents are able to see. Dale turns with a squeal of shoe leather and looks at the illuminated face of his friend.

"Albert, I would like to ask you something."

Albert frowns and looks away from the tank. "Are you asking permission to ask a question? Redundancy is pointless, Agent Cooper."

Albert is right: the question itself is pointless. Dale presses his lips against Albert's. Albert frowns then slides two fingers against Dale's jaw to correctly align their mouths. Behind them, the earth rolls as new life boils forth from death.

The first time Quatre tried, the first time he came close and pursed his lips and reached out, Trowa didn't see him. Instead of wide eyes and a soft mouth, he saw grasping hands and snarled smiles. He had panicked and shoved Quatre away.

Later, Quatre came to him, shamefaced, miserable, and apologized profusely. He'd misunderstood and Trowa need not worry - he would never touch him again.

And he didn't.

Trowa saw when the thought came over Quatre. Sometimes, when they were planning a mission or waiting for orders or simply being, Quatre would pause and look at him and Trowa would stare back, face impassive - inside he would be fearful, be angry, be hopeful. And then Quatre would blink and a wistful little smile would fall over his lips and he would continue on as if the moment never happened. As if he never wanted.

But Trowa did. He wanted, despite everything, to feel Quatre's lips, to feel his hands, to feel his heart.



Sitting on the edge of the bed, elbows resting on his knees, Trowa watched. Quatre was sleeping - his eyes moved under his eyelids, his mouth opened to noiseless puffs of air. To allow Trowa so close without waking; he must be exhausted. Trowa's gaze was heavy as he stared, and he reached out to touch Quatre's cheek. The caress was rough, unpracticed, and Quatre moved under it's weight, turning his face away. Trowa pulled back, eyes narrowing. He stood and knelt over Quatre, hands gently pulling Quatre's wrists over his head, pinning them against the bedding.

Trowa sighed, sounding nearly lovesick; he was trembling, he realized. Closing his eyes, he leaned down and touched his lips against Quatre's - petal soft at first before pressing harder.

He knew the moment Quatre woke up. The lips under his tightened and the wrists under his hands twisted, struggling free. Trowa transferred both of Quatre's wrists to one hand to cup his jaw, thumb stroking Quatre's cheekbone, pulling away just enough to press a 'shhh' against his mouth. Quatre murmured Trowa's name and calmed, tilting his head to deepen their kiss.

After a moment, Trowa pulled back, resting his forehead against Quatre's. A tiny, imperceptible smile played over his lips and Quatre answered it with a wider, softer smile. Trowa loosened his grip on Quatre's wrists. Bringing his arms down, Quatre slowly, cautiously looped them around Trowa's shoulders, careful not to curl his fingers or hold too tightly.

Trowa ran his fingers carefully over Quatre's face before lying down beside him on the bed, pressing his face against Quatre's hair. He realized suddenly that for the first time in a long time, he was happy.
