[Request] Tales of the Abyss
Fandom: Tales of the Abyss
Pairing(s)/Character(s): Guy/Luke, Van, as many or few others as you wish.
This is my request: This is an AU what if kind of fic, and I've had this idea for about a couple months. Cutting for spoilers.
This takes place before Tear gets into the Von Fabre residence. Guy Cecil finally goes through with his plans to kill members of the Von Fabre Household, except for Luke. Guy can't bring himself to kill Luke(he had fallen in love with him), so he runs away with him. Luke does not know that Guy is responsible for those deaths. Guy has some remorse for that he has done, but only for the collateral damage and how it all affects Luke.
Guy and Luke first escape in a carriage, but because this AU fic involves a somewhat higher tech level, Guy acquires a car that he built himself. They "road trip" a bit, but it's more like they're being chased by Van, people from Kimlasca, and ultimately the Malkuth Empire(mostly Jade since he knows that Luke is actually a replica, and finds that Guy is actually Gailardia Galan Gardios of the fallen Hod continent).
Beyond that? Who knows, except to say that it would turn many things upside down.
Guy/Luke are a romantic pairing in this, but it doesn't have to be NC-17(though R-NC17 is preferred).
