Olivia had invited Astrid over to her place out of sympathy. The junior agent was forever either in the lab cleaning up after Walter or at Walter's house cleaning up after him. A part of Olivia felt as though it was her fault, since she had been the one to insist that they needed Walter all those months ago.
That and Rachel had teased her to the point of groaning about having no type of social life whatsoever. Olivia insisted she had friends but when her sister crossed her arms and waited with a bemused smirk for Olivia to name them, the FBI agent scowled at her sister and sighed. She hated when her sister was right.
So the next day, she invited Astrid over to watch a movie and maybe play a board game. It turned out to be more fun than either woman had expected. Astrid was nervous at first but she warmed up to the blonde once they realized they loved watching old black and white movies. Sitting on the couch, Olivia flicked on the channel with all the old movies and they passed a bowl of popcorn back and forth.
At some point between My Fair Lady and The Children's Hour, Olivia got up to get them some more bottles of beer. When she came back, Astrid was enraptured with the movie, eating out of the popcorn bowl absently. Olivia smiled in amusement as a small kernel shell seemed to have escaped notice on the very corner of the younger woman's mouth. Placing the beers softly on the coffee table, Olivia sat beside Astrid and without thought, reached over and brushed the shell away. The touch of fingers against her face snapped Astrid out of her trance and she looked at Olivia with a look of confusion and... something indescribable. Fear? Horror? Something else? Olivia couldn't pinpoint it.
"There was a kernel shell on your mouth," the blonde explained, feeling suddenly embarrassed by what she had done.
"Oh. Thanks," the other woman said slowly.
Then it happened, without conscious thought until flesh touched flesh and that first thrill of a first kiss flushed through both women. Even when realization set in, neither women seemed to care not even when they broke apart for air, flushed and giddy like teenagers.
"Sorry," they said in unison and laughed.
It really hadn't been a planned thing, but Olivia was glad it happened. Now her sister couldn't tease her about being a hermit anymore with Astrid always coming by to watch a movie.
FILLED - Not Planned (Olivia/Astrid)
